Visiting home. Mom dug up my old Van Halen 1984 headband, which I got at their concert at the Capital Centre on March 25 of that year. “Jump” was #1 on the charts but they were pushing “Panama” for next, and it was the big finale. Wild show for 13-year-old me with my friend and his older sisters.

Normally I ride my bike around Prospect Park in the morning but today it was raining so I walked instead. Stopped by the Wave Hill Bakery table at the green market on the way in and bought a pain au chocolat. Munched my treat and took this photo over the pond, looking toward the dog beach.
