Part of the surveillance video was a zoomed-in, higher-definition view of the two survivors clinging to a still-floating, capsized portion, they said. For a little under an hour — 41 minutes, according to a separate US official — Bradley and the rest of the US military command center discussed what to do as they watched the men struggle to overturn what was left of their boat, the sources said."

"What Happened" is not that Comey and the emails cost Hillary Clinton the election. They had minimal impact, and she was already bleeding support by early October.

"107 Days" was plenty of time. Harris surged into a lead and blew it with the Liz Cheney Eras Tour.

An excerpt from the first page of "The Right to a Competent Electorate" by Jason Brennan. It reads: "Many of my fellow citizens are incompetent, ignorant, irrational, and morally unreasonable about politics. Despite that, they hold political power over me. They can staff offices of great power and wield the coercive authority of the state against me. They can force me to do things I do not wish to do, or have no good reason to do. As an innocent person, I should not have to tolerate that. Just as it would be wrong to force me to go under the knife of an incompetent surgeon, or to sail with an incompetent ship's captain, it is wrong to force me to submit to the decisions of incompetent voters. People who exercise power over me, including other voters, should have to do so in a competent and morally reasonable way. Otherwise, as a matter of justice, they ought to be excluded from holding political power, including the power to vote."
