People are constantly chasing other people’s expectations. My dad in his 70s is still doing that. I listened to that my whole life. It’s exhausting.

Questions like this irritate me. I’ve been a “victim” of chrononormativity and gosh I wish I can go back in time and stop fretting over these bullshit “milestones”.

That’s kinda where I lean towards as a reader 😊 And I actually enjoy most of the indie authors I pick up. Idk what it is, but the more popular and highly read an author is, the less likely I’ll pick it up. Maybe it’s coz they already have a lot of attention? I’ve had my share of disappointments too.
