can't believe after 2day I'm closer to 50 than I am to 40. where's the time go? seems like I was turning 16 yesteryear but it was 30 yrs ago! wth? lol.

Cooking for one/ two is harder than I anticipated. I made Bavarian sausage and a grilled cheese out of my smokie buns w veggies. My husband made zucchini noodles with sauce & mozza cheese. It was so yummy. I think I'll let him cook for us lol. #formerteenmama #momofadults #emptynest #fortysomething

Had epilepsy as a baby & into my childhood. Because of that my mom sought help from my aunt Florence, who, called me and my sister's her 1st kids so i called her mama Flo. The other day she left us to join the ancestors & I know my twi skixa will be amongst those who greet her on the other side. ❤️

Challenged myself to use the groceries i already have and am limiting my grocery shopping to buying ingredients needed to accompany my meals. So for my lunch today, I made myself thick cut bacon strips and I fried frozen veggies from the fridge & freezer and left over rice in the bacon grease.
