I have two careers: one in entertainment, one in med-legal. I constantly have to field the question "what makes you qualified to do your job?!" for the latter (a job I've been doing WELL for about 13 years). It's humiliating, so I rarely disclose that I do it at all.

The panic I panicked when I learned that the new general consensus among a nearly illiterate populous is that any writing utilizing an em dash was "clearly AI" and fuck my fucking life who am I without my beloved em dash and Oxford commas help.
