Red alert! 🚨 KRISTAN HIGGINS LIKED MY BOOK! “Bald-Faced Liar by Victoria Helen Stone sounds dark and scary, but the wonderful thing is, it’s not. The narrator’s voice is nothing short of joyful, exuberant at times.” Eeee! This was definitely the most fun I’ve had writing a bloody suspense. 😉

I’m very sorry to announce this to the rest of the country & the world, but a transitional logo has been chosen for the 2034 Salt Lake City Olympics & this is it. Why does it say Utah? We don’t know. Why is the font illegible? Yet another mystery. Did they go ugly on purpose? Again, no idea.

I changed gynecologists years ago when my doctor started advertising facial esthetics in the office. Botox, fillers, etc. Like I want to think about my aging face while I’m getting healthcare? Saw her name on this promo yesterday & I feel damn proud of my instincts now. 🙄

Big storm blew out the power late last night, so we rolled out of bed & walked a mile to get breakfast & coffee. I guess I can see why morning people like to get out & about… but not on the first 30° morning of the season. 🥶

We drove 210 miles through the park. We saw 2 grizzlies in 2 days (from a distance), and a black bear with a cub! 🥹🥹🥹 Also, big-horn sheep, elk, deer, a red fox, and so many bison, of course. Plus Yellowstone’s ravens which are so huge they honestly look like muppets. (Pic 2 is NOT a diorama!)

I told my husband we should get some of those tube boats with waders…but just to explore lakes, not to go fishing. I was kidding, but now it sounds like so much fun??? Just cruising around & watching the fish, pretending we’re moose. Who’s in??? (example below)
