I've had a jolly time at the @britsoci.bsky.social sociology of religion conference today. Started with a morning swim, presented two papers - one on religion in older age & another on cultural disruption, & chatted with some fun and interesting people. My lovely pal Julianne and I have teamed up for this year's @pintofscience.uk in Nottingham. Julianne used the participant photos from my lived experience of frailty work to show connections in older age. The work is on show at The Carousel (one of my fave places in Nottingham) until 19th May.

Feeling the post writing retreat blues today after three delightful and insanely productive days at Chapelgarth so I've set out on a walk. The lane I live on leads into beautiful farm land. It feels like I'm in a different country today #shouldhavewornshorts
