Just yesterday I released another beta round for Shattered Pixel Dungeon that added the Cleric's 2nd lategame armor ability! Trinity is a supremely flexible ability that lets you access the effects of equipment you've found previously in your run.

The second of the journals we found. Someone was clearly getting frustrated... though just what does that message say?
Another weathered journal with yellowed pages, with a few sticky notes. It reads: "Entry #56 I think it's about time I rethink my timely conquest. It's clear at this point that former civilisations cannot comprehend my prowess. Hell, this jungle is already devoid of humanity! [a sketch of the jungle from the Lost City, the city's emblem is coated in thick undergrowth] But that may just not matter anymore. I found yet another key. So far, each era had one that let me access a new time rift. Fascinating. [To the side of the following, a few equations trying to decipher a code in red.] Someone or something must have purposely left them for a genius of my calibre to uncover! I won't rest until I find all of them, and I will keep on making replicas for those nitwits chasing me. Whatever I find will surely allow me to crush them once and for all. [Another equation trying to decipher a code in red.] Entry #57 [Instead of an actual entry, there's a drawing of a stone tablet with some sort of inscription in a strange writing system.]

Expect a blog post early next week with a bunch more info on Shattered Pixel Dungeons's upcoming hero! In the meantime, here are two more Cleric spells: Holy Weapon and Holy Ward. These grant temporary weapon and armor boosts, perfect for drawn out fights.

In a way the Cleric is the first hero to appear in the original Pixel Dungeon, back in 2012! For about 6 days PD had a hero design that ended up getting scrapped. This was my earliest inspiration for the Cleric, although the design has changed since then.
