Here's a recent piece, "Conway Train Two" 11x14 Color Pencil '25 done from friend's photo of scenic railway in NH. The first one sold kinda quickly, so I did another. Art is tricky biz. Also still doing music; I'm a drummer/percussionist in Upstate NY. See much more on fb page Art by Victor Lay!

Another recent piece I've done was this unusual one called Soul Ascension 16x16 Oil Pastel, framed as shown, adapted from obscure cd cover of guitarist. I kept the color scheme, added the cross and removed hints of jewelry and clothes. As my gal and I often discuss Jesus, I decided to do this.

Sorry I haven't been here for a while, been busy w work and stressed out. Life w Trump Unchained is brutal! But I get to play several times this month and have completed more art. Here's one, "Bluejay Four" 14x11 Color Pencil done from friend's photo. Spring (and midterms) can't come soon enuf!

Here's one I did recently direct from life of my gal, Mizz Deniz. She is beautiful inside and out, the sweetest kindest person I've ever known. Much of my art is done from her photo and then she takes pics of finished and framed pieces. Anyway, this is "Blue Dreamer" 20x16 Oil Pastel.

Ironic that sycophants are calling Trump "Daddy". My gal @mizzdeniz-0429.bsky.social often calls me BVD or Big Vic Daddy. True story. Once she saw BVD on my briefs while I was bending over under the sink and asked me what it stood for. W/o missing a beat, I told her Big Vic Daddy! And yes, I'm home~
