A new dawn. Finally deactivated my account on the other place after 15 years. Like all things, it's time to leave when it's not fun anymore. I'd not used it for almost 3 months anyway, & my last posts received zero engagement.
Still some great people there, but hopefully they'll abscond soon too.

Everyone seems to recommend this site, but it's not brilliantly interactive, is it? I get such better engagement on Threads. Shame, because I like the interface here.

When I joined here a while back, it seemed lovely, but there wasn't much engagement. Has that changed with the extended exodus from the former bird site?

I'm a Threads user now, but would love to use here if the engagement levels have improved.

A late night sojourn onto this lovely, serene site, and one of the first things I spot is my bio still has #GTTO on it. What a lovely frisson of pleasure that gave me for a few seconds 😊
