I had the pleasure of connecting with Miwa and Cynthia. Miwa is part of the project soilcamp.ca I met with Ethan and Kimeona from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. What I appreciate most is the opportunity to learn about the soil, rocks, water, and the relationships that connect us all.

It was an honor to present today at the 7rh Oxford Desert conference at the University of Oxford. I talked about the Finnish geographer J. Granö's research in the circa Altai region - a fitting theme for the Day for Glaciers. Reconnected with colleagues from Japan, got to know more amazing scholars.
