So I did a cross domain test on ChatGPT and on #deepseek, ie input a prompt that crosses two different topic areas. Basically on first prompt, deepseek choked and gave me no answer after thinking a minute. I repeated it and it gave me a result. ChatGPT gave a result immediately.

So, I asked Deepseek this question “What has Secretary of Defense Hegseth said about potential US defense of Taiwan?” Interestingly, it started generating an answer in Chinese but suddenly stopped and erased results but its sources are high quality

What are folks doing when pressed ask you to license your books to AI? I am torn. On the one hand, I don’t think it’s stoppable anyway. On the other, I don’t want to give them the satisfaction of having a legal way to using my words
