Beautiful #parkrun #parwalk at #VarsityLakes. I spotted 19 bird species: water, sea & woodland birds. Swan families, the willy wagtail, the black & white usual suspects & an unknown bird I'll have to look up. Egrets, herons, swamphens. Photos below not from today. @parkrunaustralia.bsky.social 🦜🐦⬛🐦

I've been blown away by the high level of comms over the #Alfred 🌀 this week w. great info from state govt, GC city council, police, BoM, all emergency services! & level of detail to get prepared, monitor changes & act as necessary to stay safe. Community socials also brill #QLD👏 Still raining 🌧
