I hardly spend any time on LinkedIn, but this week I've been dipping in and out a bit more because I got a couple of messages and posted something we made. When you aren't used to it it has a really odd vibe, sort of quite desperate but overconfident at the same time. Not a nice place to be around.

I just asked someone who knows about this stuff and they said the same, still very cool though

Yep, release clause was set quite low I believe, unfortunate for you, good for us, top-notch player

Some lovely players there, Shaquiri of course went on to become a Liverpool immortal not least for the part he played in the infamous 4-0 defeat of Barcelona in the Champions league semi final.

We were in serious decline at the time, you were one of 6 losses in a row if I recall - thankfully the Klopp era was about to come…

That 6-1 was the end of Brentan, thank goodness. You did us a huge favour there.

Slot as Style Guru is genius

It is very funny. Brentford spent nearly ten minutes of the game last weekend preparing to take long throws - ten minutes out of 90 spent watching a bloke dry a ball with towel...

Yep. For eg. the poster is about the same proportion as a bar, make the whole poster the bar (drawn by an artist with an interesting style) some of the pack torn away, a chunk of chocolate bitten off in the corner, and the tagline sits in that gap. Or break off that bit of billboard physically.

The problem with posters like this is that the tagline should be the only copy, and the image should bring that to life in an compelling way. Not mad about the tagline, it's chocolate, of course it is meant be enjoyed, without the 'enemy' to play off as per the telly, it's pretty meaningless.
