The Conservatives lost what was a very winnable election for them primarily because many Canadians have a viscerally negative view of Poilievre. If the Conservatives reach any other conclusion they will lose the next election too.

The Conservative platform promises “…to crack down on "woke ideology" in the public service and federal funding for university research.” We have seen what this means in the US and can’t let it start here. Vote to soundly beat PP.

Removing PP from their TV ads is a sensible move by the CPC but replacing him with Harper seems like a really bad idea. Harper was immensely unpopular and remains a very polarizing figure. The ads will just remind people of why they don’t want a conservative government.

Good political move by Carney to reaffirm support for CBC/Radio-Canada, including increasing funding, in a world of misinformation and when Canada is under threat. Will PP take the bait?

The celebrating coming from the Alberta government is appalling in the face of thousands of Canadians facing job losses due to the US tariffs. The rest of Canada is supposed

PP’s refusal to seek his security clearance and his insinuations that the Liberals are trying to silence him (he is essentially lying to Canadians) is a glaring example of why he is not a serious leader. He is either playing cheap political games with a serious subject or he has something to hide.

Here is a question for those who support the Conservatives or who are undecided. What has Poilievre shown you to date that makes you believe he could unite Canada, lead Team Canada with the Premiers, and negotiate effectively with Trump? Do you see him able to build relationships with Europe?

Why do so many of the articles interviewing the US players about their reaction to the booing of the US national anthem fail to mention the reason why Canadian fans were booing. Seems like pretty important context setting to me.

So what gives us any reason to believe that Trump isn’t going to raise another issue or issues in the next 30 days? We need to continue to work on eliminating inter provincial trade barriers and diversifying our trading partners. As the saying goes, “don’t waste a good crisis”!
