Yes in my experience, and I’ve tried it in lots of different countries. Sometimes you have to disconnect and reconnect.

I’ve used Nord for a few years now, if it doesn’t work on BBC disconnect and reconnect and it’s usually fine. Worth the money. Also good for unsecured WiFi networks in hotels etc.

I like the Cormoran Strike (Galbraith) and Simon Serrailler (Hill) books - both brilliantly narrated. Some are a bit gory in places though
