Oh no, the Wokes have banned Christmas so I’ve had to disguise this tree as a non-denominational shrine.

Wondering if you have enough batteries for Christmas? My advice is to move house! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Any Catholics or historians able to help. My Irish relatives had their details entered in The Golden Book at Liverpool Cathedral. I’m not aware they had links with the Cathedral and we seem to be the only Irish immigrants not to end up in Liverpool! Why might they have done this?

Did I put up a Christmas tree up because I knew if I put it away with everything else in boxes after the move I wouldn’t be bothered getting it out again? You betcha!

Sorting out is very tedious but at least I know what I was up to 34 years ago 😱

Nearly a new record today with 40 points on a person spec to be addressed in my application. The record is 42!

He might look like a big fluffy fool in whose mouth butter wouldn’t melt but this is the unholy creature who was playing with a terrified mouse under my bed at 6.15 this morning. I’m so glad my own fat lump, Mischa, has never caught more than an already dead fly!

Hotel breakfast cat is working hard to protect the 4th seat at every table. Thank you for service, Puss!

I’m pathetically conflicted avoidant in my private (but not professional) life but this morning I girded my loins and got myself moved from the room from hell. 💃 This won’t be the best holiday I’ve ever had but I’m slightly hopeful it may not be the worse 🙄

Shall we play worst hotel in Europe. I paid £900+ for this. I’ve never felt so ripped off.

Those who know me will understand how much I loved Graham Greene’s acting if I tell you Ive seen Thunderheart more than once and knew that he’d been in 2 episodes of Murder She Wrote. RIP

Having a look round Preston Manor. Thoroughly enjoying the lack of any explanation as to why the lady of the house has left a copy of the Karma Sutra on her bed!

I was going to get coffee an hour ago but then Loki turned up!

After 6 years in Chatham which is best described as not lovely, I’m really enjoying staying in a nice middle class bit of Brighton where every other building is a coffee shop. It isn’t how I grew up so I don’t care if it’s smug or pretentious. It’s just really nice.
