marshmallows should not be burnt, but adhd be damned, I‘be never managed to avoid it
A four panel comic arranged 2 x 2. frame 1 says “roasting (not burning) time”. There’s an arrangement of graham crackers, marshmallows, unnamed chocolate bars, and chocolate covered peanut butter discs. frame 2: a beautiful s’mores being squished. It says “yours is beautiful” then “Hold this for me” with a hand offering a graham cracker. Two brand logos. The first is “crush” like the orange soda. The second is a play on the Icee brand, but has been cut down to “ICE”. Both logos are drawn but pretty faithful to the original logos. The crush logo is sorta overlapping the ice logo, as if it is on top

So, the local library has been shutdown, by the town, since June. There are handfuls of library road signs, still up. I think they deserve to become art. What would you do with them?

I have a few ideas (🧵) and wanna make sure it’s visible from a distance

Life’s been hectic in mostly good ways. Anyway, design is my thing and it permeates everything I care about. So, I’ve started designing a house because why not. Just needs an `is_occupied?` light outside the secret door

What would your dream board game room be like?
A pencil-scrawled floor plan. several areas to play, read, chill, whatever. With an area in middle for a table. A longer description: a sorta octagonal room on one end and rectangular on the other. The rectangular side has 2 90° angles with 2 windows on the short end. Each of these corners has reading nooks that double as seating. Each nook has a small table next to it. Between the 2 windows is a Murphy bed. On the long/bottom wall is another pair of windows with a second Murphy bed option. Beyond the windows, the walls start to angle into the octagonal shape. Part of it is a window seat. Part is a coat closet. Part is a closet for the room. And the last part connects right outside the bathroom, outside of the room. The last part is labeled “secret passage?” Not pictured: a walkthrough pantry with a wall of 🫙🫙 is adjacent to the bathroom door

This weekend, I learned I am not autistic.
So, I wrote this note at the beginning of my copy of Unmasking Autism. I’ve been marking up this book with intentions to give it to my dad, in hopes that I can share part of my life with him.
Note written in the front of a book. In teal ink: “This weekend I talked to Dr Langer, a well-educated special education teacher, about how I felt after sharing a rather short list of things, in my lite, that helped me realize I am autistic, years ago. I felt brushed off. Which really felt shitty, when I was scared to share such things. I guess I’m not qualified to understand my life. Doc Langer has just now reminded me I don’t have a diagnosis. That's interesting, since my dad doesn’t either and actively denies the label. However against her husband’s will, Doc Langer has confidently diagnased him. She has also informed me that, if anything, shed label me With Aspergers because for some reasan it’s worth distinguishing from Autism.”

It’s like how I prefer my dogs to have longer softer fur like shepherds, retrievers, and whatever brown-dog-ness this guy is

It’s been a riveting (literal) week of protecting cardboard holes. I think I finally have enough functional components to iron out the 🎲 ✂️ mechanics.

I think I unintentionally built an Overton Window simulation 🤷🏼
Top cards read: “flying a kite”, “wearing white after Labor Day”, and “healthcare”. A long skinny board just wider than applying card has multiple sets of half poker cards clipped together and then along the edge of the long skinny board there’s a shoelace woven in one card and out another an in one and the other in one and out the other all the way down, the shoelace goes from green at the top to red at the bottom The bottom cards read: “comedic relief”, “drying your hair in the bath”, the clap”, “standing on the top rung of the ladder”. Earlier, some old dude broke my autistic-grocery-store-tunnel-vision to tell me about his patriotic graphic novel, that he wrote & drew. I hope my transgenda shirt didn’t scream patriot
Printed paper flyer photocopy. It’s quite rudimentary. Sorta zine style but not intentionally. In the middle is a QR code to book on wattpad.com. Above the QR code is the title “FLAGG” and its letters are filled in with spectrum-like stripes and along with stars on a dark background. It reminds me of the Malaysian flag. Behind the title is some sort of bird (eagle?) insignia emblem. Behind that is a globe with circles around it. In front of that is a business-suited person next to a “happy 4th of July” and a speech bubble that says “god bless America” Below the QR code, there’s are a few things written in marker. “BEST COMIC BOOK EVER!!!”. “5 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ “. “SUPER GOOD!!!”. “WATTPAD.com”. And “JMUSE58”. Note from op: I have no clue if this is a legitimately patriotic work or if it’s something I might actually enjoy. Either way, please don’t troll him

Working on a new game thing. I wasn’t intending to catfish 🎲✂️
There are two index cards with two cards paper clipped to each of them. along the left edge there’s orange and yellow laces threaded through four holes in each index card. Oh, and the most important part but I almost forgot. There’s a white kitty with tabby spots attacking the yellow string that’s coming out of the top index card. The cards (top to bottom) read: - wearing sneakers with dress clothes. - Dumping water out of bottle at airport security. - responding to a group email via “reply all” to talk about that game. - mowing thy neighbor’s lawn. This is basically the same picture and the same view. The main difference is the innocent adorable white kitty of yester-picture is now vicious attack, monster: mouth agape, arm swatting.

I’ve been real scared of putting out a flag. Regardless, I put it in a more prominent spot than I originally planned to. No worries though, regardless of colorfulness, it blends right in.🤦🏼 I hope a next time isn’t needed, but I would definitely get a bigger one.

In other news: Not a Real-Word Game has obtained some chevrons. I can’t wait to see them along with the cards, when they get here! 🎲✂️
Bags of Progress pride colored chevron tons are lay on the counter around a block cut for printing the boxes these bits will be going in. The block says “not a real-word game” in some scribbly fonts. It also has a game stats block of 5-15 minutes, 8+, and 2-12+. This last box doesn’t have an icon yet because idk what to do in such a tiny space. In the back, you can see the tops of 3 spotted bananas.

I am trying to make it harder for this wolf card to use (eat, 🤫) these hoofed creatures, by requiring that a wolf is placed upon 2 of them simultaneously. With this wolf card, would you expect the wolf to
A: none of the below
B: use the left
C: use the right
D: use the top
E: use the bottom
There’s an arrangement of ungulate cards surrounding a wolf card. All of these cards seem to have corners that should be overlapped to demonstrate usage. The Wolf card is in the middle is showing that the left two corners of the Wolff card can overlap with the right most corners of the cards to its left. On the left, there is a deer and a bison. The left side of the wolf card shows locks in the corners and a key in the middle, but connected to those two corners. On the right, there is an elk and a deer. The right side of the wolf card shows keys in the corner and a lock in the middle, but connected to those two corner keys. At the top, there is an elk and a bison. The top side of the wolf card shows a padlock on the left and a skeleton key on the right they are simply connected by a plain line.

Excuse tf out of me (shrinkflation?) but this is unacceptable. If I’m buying 1”x4”s and 1”x6”s I expect them to be exactly 3/4”, not 11/16”. No amount of cute spots in your grain will make me like having loose shelves

Until last night, I hadn’t pulled out Wolf Chains in 4 months. A slow 🎲✂️ playthrough showed so much good stuff to fix and ponder. Most notably: A 🐺 gives 🦌/🦬 a 🦴 when they eat them. Then the 🦴 gets used by 🍄/🪱. Why?! This is not the way. Okay, but it is kinda the way. Maybe my framing is not ideal

Same cat different angle. Now you can see the array of 8 cat toys. Various Balls, springs, an ace mouse, and a yarn-like toy
