I live in Missouri, Kansas City area. Live with my granddaughter, a Havanese named Finnegan, and a ginger cat named Harmony. I love traveling, as often and as far away as I have funds and time for. I'm an avid quilter and enjoy painting.
Finally finished my Everglow Star Cluster quilt. I added borders to make it bigger. Used a Jungle Leaf edge-to-edge quilting pattern and wool batting..

I purchased this quilt kit at the Kansas City Regional Quilt Festival in 2023. I quilted it with a digital quilting pattern called Heatwave and used a flame colored variegated thread.

Working on my Postcards From Sweden quilt. So far I'm underwhelmed but I'm hoping I'm satisfied with the finished quilt since I've always loved the quilt. But I'm not a fan of solids. Stay tuned.

Did the last 15 blocks for my 100 Modern Blocks quilt. I sorted the 1st 85 and I was heavy on the cool colors so the last 15 are warm colors. Mostly orange as I only had 4 oranges in the stack.

So I got an idea from a conversation with a friend and a churn dash quilt I recently quilted. Decided to plan a quilt but with all different sizes of the same block & some blocks within blocks. The smallest will be 3" finished which is super small so I decided I better make a test block.

I've been busily coloring/planning for my Barn Star Sampler. I think I might use metallic. Grunge, cork, and another line I have from connecting threads.

One piece? My most recent always tends to be my favorite.

I decided this quilt needs more attention so it moved upstairs to the TV watching sewing machine and I made a teeny tint bucket of teeny tiny 4-patches and 12 half sq triangles.
