I spent so much ink on Gitmo in my book about concentration camps because it was clear that by failing to eliminate detention there, this is where we've been headed for decades. What the US has already done is horrific, and in an unconstitutional no-man's-land, we face the possibility of much worse.

There are a lot of great explainers, but I think my value add is working through specific examples of things that've failed to make it through reconciliation and explaining the parliamentarian's reasoning.

An excellent primer on budget reconciliation.
I’ve never seen a day when so many tax people were talking about SCOTUS. Sounds like I might still have to teach partnership tax in the spring. I was sort of hoping it would be declared unconstitutional.
