Deka is already struggling with a lot of pressure keeping her demonic corruption from overtaking her sanity, but tricking her into directly killing someone she holds dear or even causing a large catastrophe is a surefire way to make her snap and become fully consumed by Malerith's will.

My sci-fi setting's overarching main antagonist is Emperor Stahleon, a cyborg warlord who sees his current form as an absolute improvement over the fragility and irrationality of the man he used to be prior to the 2042 attacks. His ultimate goal is to similarly roboticize all organic life.
