Battlefield 1 and V have still very active players and good fun to be had, if you were looking for closed arena shooting, halo infinite is the best it's ever been since launch and has a concise gamemode selector.

I'd chalk it up to parasociality too. Like Yakuza you were probably people's first introduction to monster hunter (myself included). I'm NGL, the first day it's been available on Nexus, I installed it immediately. Its so much easier to get all the content and have varying class play with more members.

your shading and rendering is one-of-a-kind. I've seen a lot of people go for diffuse shading but not at the softness you're able to achieve. And not referring to bodies, but I'd also say your lineart is very smooth and wavy. Not a lot of straight solid edges to be seen at all.
