The emergency vet sat us down with a list of things that dogs SHOULD eat, and told us socks weren't on it

Not to be outdone, the hound threw up a plastic sucker that has been wanging about in his stomach for over a month. Thank god, no surgery to get it out - this time.

While suboptimal on the needing-to-leave-the-house front, I can recommend one of these for it's general entertainment value and use as a weighted blanket/radiator.
