@luckymooseart.bsky.social and I studied a nice pumpkin on drawpile, using a rounded brush. Those little creases have so many details involved! Definitely learned a lot for a 45 minute study.

I followed the first two steps ok, and decided to make a cool sunset, but the third step was just "add details" lol. I watched that part again and again to try to follow along.

The Sauren Musketeers was named after a chatter, and in the final battle they shot 1000 of the enemy!

Mine is on the top left - gotta admit that I traced the outline, so I can focus on the painting part of the study!

Had a lot of fun for this one. Narrow vertical canvases are always a fun change of pace, and these feel like they can make for neat bookmarks. I dunno if the graphite would wear off tho.

@luckymooseart.bsky.social and I did 30min latex studies in drawpile tonight.
For this one, I traded the leg so I can focus on getting the technique down better. I also switched to a brush Lucky recommended, and used brush size changes more, which I think helped.

I got some good practice in with blending colored pencils in which I never felt confident with. I think for future projects I’ll keep a scrap of paper to test blending outcomes.
