Based in Bangkok and Chiang Rai. Like to run roads and trails in Thailand. Day job is piloting a B2B marketing agency for industrial companies. Playing with Asia data, industry market data, building websites, platforms (Laravel/Filament) and more!
Now stop teasing me like this. #Bangkok #Thailand

Sure heavy rain in Bangkok is bad for traffic but it makes the moobaan suitable for waterpolo.

A bit of coding last night for our in-house "B2B agency timesheet" app. A custom widget to visualize individual and team hours in each project with "github style" heatmap. Allowing to see how many hours we spend on each customer... or spot when we forgot to log hours. #Filament #Livewire #Laravel

Nice evening run around Nong Bon tonight. Keeping an eye on the watch as they close at 6.30pm 🏃⌚ To their credit they do open at 4.30am though. #Bangkok #Running #Thailand

It's not clear to me what benefits an early retirement below legal age grant them. If it's just 8 month pay then it seems the bank is just dismissing an aging workforce at a cheaper rate than if they were firing them directly, and doing a bit of PR on the way?

Shaking the legs in Nong Bon this morning before a hectic day 🏃😅 #Bangkok #Running

Maybe the misspelling is some type of camouflage, or an expensive joke... or a car job gone wrong. #Thailand #Tsela #Tesla

I think the feeds I created should have less NSFW content now that I have understood how to use the automatic labels provided by BlueSky which seem to cover the basics.

Digging some stats for 🇹🇭 Thailand automotive manufacturing this morning.

Seems like 2024 was -20% in term of vehicles out of assembly lines.

Roughly 40% are for domestic market (sales dropped a lot), and 60% for export.

61% are pickup trucks, 38% passenger cars.

13% Hybrids. <1% EVs.

My neighbor's cat is in the Top 3 moustache cats in Bangkok, if not the world.

India and Bangladesh. It's not clear Pharma will be impacted? Shows the huge reliance of Bangladesh on the garment industry.

Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia will have their biggest impact in term of electronics, appliances, subcomponents. Vietnam clothing industry will be impacted.

After some wishful thinking, it seems clear after last night Southeast Asia will not be spared by the US tariffs frenzy. I find those charts from OEC help to make sense of what industries that will impact. Buckle up! Detail in thread 🧵

Watched #Mickey17 yesterday night. The premise of the movie is serious but the delivery is very fun. I laughed a lot. If you are into scifi, movie that make you think or just satire of society, it may be your thing.

Black-Naped Oriole in Bangkok today from the window. A couple of them flying around On Nut, super bright.

Good time yesterday at the Amazing Chiang Rai Marathon 2025 🏃. 15°c at 3am. Making it probably the "coolest" road marathon in Thailand ^^ This really helped the cardio, I didn't overshoot zone 3, but more strength in the legs needed. Still it's a PR so very happy. Now going back home to BKK!

Back in Chiang Rai for two weeks. Will have Chiang Rai Marathon on the 2nd of February. Still a bit of running to do before the taper. Beautiful weather, not too much dust. Can expect 12-14°c the night of the marathon hopefully.

Finishing the year on a blunder. Did my research online to pick a hotel far from some noisy beach club and accidently ended up booking sea view right in front of the New year countdown celebration. Today sound and light checks. Will do better in 2025. #NhaTrang

Half Marathon Awaken Bangkok 🌕. A very early start at 3am... Not quite sure how I made it out of bed at 1.15am. Glad I made it though: empty Bangkok and cool weather. Felt like sightseeing through the landmarks from a unique perspective.

Thailand runner tip: if you go to Chiang Rai you can go stretch your legs on the old airport runway, it's in the city center, about 1.8km long I think. Many people exercising every morning and evening. Bonus points if you hate curves.

It also motivated me to build my legs on more local Thai trail events, cheaper and less-crowded, to discover new landscapes. I want to work on my speed before I attempt a UTMB regional level event again. Maybe in 2 years time?

Keep running everyone 🏃👊

Made ittttt! 11h33mn chip time. My goal was less than 10 but I start to get a sense of what to improve. I was scared about nutrition and energy level but it was ok. Grateful to the beautiful mountains, the volunteers and all the runners from over the globe. It felt special 👍

Funnily this is the point I got passed by the 100K lead runner (!!) in his final stretch. Those guys are truly amazing. That got me a one second of UTMB TV fame when he passed me. 😂😂
