Today’s project: Bearing Edges on the Rogers kit
The two rack toms have some gnarly grooves in the bottom edges that will need to be recut. I am pretty handy with drums, but on a vintage edge like this I’ll be taking it to a pro.. will post an update once they’re done!

Spent basically all night polishing chrome. Before and after of the logos, but I forgot to take a before of the lugs (they were pretty crusty but surprisingly only 2-3 were significantly pitting)
Pro tip: crumpled up aluminum foil and coca-cola will get even the toughest grime off chrome.

This was my, like I assume many others, “gateway band” out of the strictly Christian music I grew up listening to as a kid.
They were still Christian-adjacent, especially in their early stages, but they led me to some more traditional pop-punk and indie bands that shaped my music taste today.

My wife is a very talented knitter, and she just bought a new cabinet to hold some of her sweaters. Really impressive seeing them all in one place (and this isn’t even all of them lol)

Broiled for about 5 minutes - I pulled the chicken out here just so I could add a splash of heavy cream and a knob of cold butter to thicken it up
