this by the way is not speculation. its already happened with night & day cafe, who were served a noise abatement notice for late night DJ sets (though the fault was not of the residents' as this article details) manchestermill.co.uk/he-complaine...

i do not personally trust the developers to act in the interests of tennants, unlike the fine folks of MCC/SCC - and it needs to be clear that residents are NOT affected by these venues' regular operations and that this needs to be taken into account when planning land use

however - the map of planned use STILL has residential led development allocated directly in the area inhibited by TWH and will ultimately lead to more noise complaints from a venue which plays loud music until 7am regularly

after reading up its good to see venues included in consultation and MCC/SCC have rightfully updated the framework to specifically name and address risk of issues arising from potential residential development near already existing music venues
