Balaris intervenes in the conversation. He stops the conversation to take the word, was he there all that time? It seems that Balaris knows that deep down Vhel would like to go back to that. In fact, he heard him rambling the idea a few months ago. It seems that Vhel carries a shadow or something heavy that happened when he was an adventurer. Balaris tries to put some pressure on Vhel to accept. But Vhel seems to be unhappy with the pace of the conversation, uncomfortably asking Balaris to shut up.

Flash from the past showing a younger Vhel with two hyur companions. A short orange-haired woman with armor and an axe on her back. And a man with cloth robes, a wizard's hat and a staff on his back. The latter looks frightened by something. Flashback where the group has one more new member, a gray-skinned aura with a book at his waist. They are all looking at the ruins in the background with the intention of investigating them. Flashback in which the group is inside the ruins. The hyur mage and the aura are talking about the place using the little documentation they have. The hyur with the axe remains alert to the surroundings, while Vhel is trying to detect something with his ears as the sun hits his face placidly. Back to the present where Vhel is dismayed remembering those days of adventure, thinking that back then he idealized all that adventure.
