Budgeting and getting film pitches done despite the obvious distractions

Working my day job at the library yesterday and a very enthusiastic 10 year old brought up 4 novels to check out. Dust and Grim by @chuckwendig.bsky.social was one. I grinned and said he love following him on social media but his adult books are too scary for me.

Another cooll thing in my film world is all the new people discovering #TheDirtChixMakingTime - a doc I did about The Dirt Chix mountain biking group. It's the only big sale I do and I love sharing these chapter books with everyone. And the Christmas Spyder is so much fun!

I feel like I've been circling my first adult novel, afraid to dive in and let it get messy. But in the last couple of weeks I've done a bunch of organizing and I finally feel like I can find a path in. I'm breathing in research about medieval women scribes, no time to murder someone... or two!
