Of course Trump doesn't actually want the files released. His sudden 180° was not only because he knew he was losing anyway, and not only because he'd already opened investigations to block their release. It also gave Republicans in Congress political cover to avoid a very damaging "no" vote.

And, rest assured, I watch Last Word first every night, but often switch to CNN after the nightly re-runs start at 9pm PST. But I usually just turn it off as soon as Jennings comes on and starts making his stupid faces, rude interruptions, and inane comments.

I can't stand Scott Jennings. I don't mind hearing the MAGA perspective, but the way he goes about it and defends lies is maddening, and he's just a jerk. I complained to CNN about him. Didn't realize what was behind them hiring him (and giving him a raise). Now I read CBS is trying to poach him.🫰

The awful sensation of suffocation is not from oxygen deprivation but the buildup of CO₂ in the blood. With O₂ deprivation, one just drifts off into unconsciousness, as with carbon monoxide. Some assisted-dying devices use nitrogen gas for this very reason.

Trump's admin wants to shift foreign workers from H1-B visas to the new Gold / Platinum Card visas @ $2/$5 million. The $100K H1-B fees seem to be an attempt to force this transition.
