I know life is crazy. I wish you well. Hope that one day you can find your way back.

Yup 🤣

That’s correct, you’d need to attend Mass on the weekdays to hear the Old Testament regularly.

Every Catholic Church follows the liturgical calendar. If they’re not reading the daily Bible passages, they’re not doing what they’re supposed to.

You’re both right. Pray can just mean make a request, it doesn’t necessarily mean worship. But since “pray” is used exclusively as “worship” in many of the largest Protestant & non denom circles, sometimes they don’t like to say “pray” because it gives the wrong impression.

If you go to church everyday you’ll have the entire Bible read to you. Liturgical calendar has Year A, Year B, Year C etc on different Gospels.

Not idolatry.

How do “Catholics” not know about praying to saints? It happens literally every day at Mass.
January 6, 2026 at 11:05 PM
Definitely not. I misspelled Phyphor’s name but it wasn’t on purpose, I hope they’re not too upset. I don’t have any beef with anyone 🙏

Sorry for all the @s. No I don’t drink or smoke. But maybe I should after this 🤣🤣🤣
December 28, 2025 at 5:27 PM
Um no. Im not upset, and im not even arguing. I LOVE chit chatting. I love to jabber on. You made a lot of sarcastic comments and I asked you to chill and now you’re like “you see I have bested you”. I said we should be friends in my 1st comment. But I guess tone is hard to read thru text.
December 28, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Um okay. 👍
December 28, 2025 at 5:22 PM
Oh cmon. What in the world. Dude I’m just chatting with you, I’m not doing any psychoanalysis on you. Whatever.

It’s true that during a specific medieval period, there was debate over “ensoulment” but this did NOT make abortion permissible at all. Whether or not every abortion incurred the same penalty, or was considered as severe, is largely irrelevant today: The CC always condemned abortion.

Possibly the earliest fully surviving magisterial teaching document is the Didache, from the 1st century which affirms we do not have the right to end the life of the fetus. “Life begins at Conception” is just a catchphrase.
December 28, 2025 at 7:16 AM
Huge misconception. The Catholic Church has **NO** stance on when “ensoulment” occurs, they haven’t “moved goalposts”, the position is still to not end the life of the unborn. St Thomas was a genius and hugely informed in many areas of ethics & philosophy but he was not Magisterial teaching.

Incorrect.Prior to becoming Pope, John XXI published a compendium including herbal medicines, which included recipes that allegedly kept sexual urges under control. Not remotely like modern birth control. Even during the time of PPJohnXXI, the church affirmed the life giving & unitive nature of sex.
December 28, 2025 at 7:09 AM
No they did not.

Everyone is loved and holds immense value. Nothing they can do or anyone can do to them changes that.

Everyone has a gender identity.

A person’s identity does not limit their ability. Roe V Wade was decided by men, John Brown was a white man etc.

There’s dignity in killing yourself? Do those who do not die of suicide have undignified deaths?

Those without assisted-suicide die undignified deaths?

FF7 rebirth did get me emotional. That was my whole “thing” last year. I started Crisis Core but got a little bored partway through. I might just watch a long play of it someday.
