Adding on to this, here is a situation he got himself in. He had to go scout out an area and encountered a slimy creature. Sure, he could totally easily escape, and deal with it, and at first he hated its transgression, but as you can see, he sort of let it happen by "accident"

Say hello to my grumpy bat Desmond! He's always dealing with the teasing and stupidity of his friends, leaving him as a grumpy and serious/tough acting guy, but he still loves them! He gets surprisingly flustered when people flirt or act sexual toward him
