To sum up the Brand New Everos (Class 805s and 807s) - Great Trains (despite small issues with the first class offerings), but the dark colour scheme really makes photography with it at night practically impossible! 😂

Finally went on a HST for the first time yesterday, and got a whole load of milage done on them!
Never actually got a chance to go on one before so I had to jump at the opportunity to ride one, the 125group does an incredible job at preserving this set!
What do you think of the HSTs?

The answer? Glasgow! North WCML fares are very cheap!
Although.. a 50 minute delay on the way back thanks to a signal fault and trespasser means that I did it for even cheaper! :P
~500 miles and numerous new stations and rolling stock ticked off.. I call that a bargain (thanks Roundabout!)

I think this going through Preston at full power is the loudest thing I have ever heard! I could literally feel it in my chest!! Genuinely one of the coolest moments of trainspotting I've had!

Remember a few weeks back when I mentioned that I've never seen a 'Maritime' Liveried Class 66? Well, 66727 decided to make an appearance when I was exploring Birmingham's railways the other week!
Also, freight train people, am I right in saying this is actually a DB Class 66?
