I'm an animation guy and I'll always be an animation guy, but the idea that any given comic is just trapped in a lesser medium until it's animated is so offensive to me
Every Junji Ito anime adaptation showcases how comics aren't some throwaway stepping stone to animation and cinema, and that we should stop treating them as such. Comics, like prose novels, are their own medium that can convey things animation and video cannot.

literally going back to HMC superbreak teams to hear rachael chau's stelle as much as i can before she's fully gone from the game. after which ill probably not play any MC or drop star rail entirely. i started this game for stelle and it is nothing to me without her
