Seriously, creative folks: Don't be afraid to let people know your stuff is out there for them, or worry that "now is not the time for that." People are stressed and freaked out and looking for the things that will give them a moment of rest and joy. It is EXACTLY the time for what we do. Tell them.

ADHD moments: listening to Tracy Otsuka's book while changing the sheets. Stopped what I was doing to take notes.
Partner asks,"so we're just not making the bed anymore?"
I say, "I have to write this down!"
And she says w a smirk, "what's the book about again?"
I say, "ADHD for smartass women...ohh"

I just watched The Birdcage and have two takeaways:
1. The over-the-top jokes about bigotry in conservative politics fit right in with today's climate. This movie came out in 1996 and people are even more hateful in 2025.
2. I'm so glad I get to dance with drag artists in gay bars.
