The Eastern Market is incredible. Its only open on the weekends but it has fresh flowers, food and food trucks. Its a great sample of Detroit's culture and vibe.

Ahhhh. I spend a lot of time in Detroit and im planning on moving there! Heres some amazing restaurants:

-Mad Nice (upscale)
-Hopcat (bar)
-Ima (Ramen)
-Detroit Shipping Company (cafeteria style with lots of different options)
-Ale Marys (bar comfort food)
