This is a fun, short and sexy read. The story is simple and straightforward, but the characters make up for it. Chris and Josh are well written and fleshed out, the banter is funny.

Not for me. The romance is lacking, the pacing is weird, I didn’t enjoy the sex scenes, hockey seems like a setting only, and Ilya is not very well fleshed out. Based on this book, I would not read another one by the author. There are better #gayHockeyRomances out here.

Not for me. The romance is lacking, the pacing is weird, I didn’t enjoy the sex scenes, hockey seems like a setting only, and Ilya is not very well fleshed out. Based on this book, I would not read another one by the author. There are better #gayHockeyRomances out here.

The art is excellent, the story intriguing. Childhood rivals who become lovers is something I genuinely enjoy. For those of you who haven’t clued in yet, this one is about hockey.

This one is just cute, lovely even. Could call it a cozy read. One volume of secret identity and cute first times. The art is excellent and stylish. The romance develops nicely, and the sex, when it happens, feels only natural. Five stars because it warmed my heart.

This is not a cute story. The themes are rather mature and bleak. Crippling debt, homelessness, being tired of living, violence. The sex scenes are steamy, and it's nice to see older characters in a BL manga for a change. 1 volume. 4 stars.
