I was going to see my dad in MD. When this happen on I95 south. The pickup truck in front of me slowed down and came to a stop. I slowed down and came to a stop. Unfortunately, the Jeep behind didn't slow in enough time to stop. These are the results.

These are the cars that made me a Ford guy. When I was a kid, my parents bought these cars NEW in 1964. My mom's 64 Ford Galaxie 500XL vert and my dad's 64 1/2 Mustang convertible with 260ci V8 automatic.

Another back in the day pics. My old 74 Datsun 260Z. Bought this from a fellow airmen in the USAF while stationed in California. Right car in the right place at the right time. It taught me there was more to driving than going fast in straight line speed.

Back on the day pics. My first brand new car a 85 Mustang GT with the 5.0L engine, 5-speed and 3.08 gears. Ran a 14.8 quarter mile bone stock. That was quick for the mid 80's, not so much today. That's 210hp for a GT in 85 compare to 460hp for a 2024 GT today.

My 99 Mustang Cobra. I bought this car new in Nov 1999. DD the Cobra untill 2015 that's when the engine started making noises (spun bearings). The car sat until Jan this year when I bought a used 2001 Cobra engine. It's nice to be cruising again. 😎 #FordMustang #MustangCobra #Automotivephotography

The old 4.6L DOHC engine and trans (T-45 good) out of my 99 Ford Mustang Cobra. I actually have 2 T-45's in my garage. I tore up the synchros in the original, racing the Cobra at the drag strip. Speed shifting is not for the faint of heart.

Rainbows in Baltimore.

My avatar pic is a picture of me on vacation in southern California. Flew in to visit some friends. I had a Ford Focus reserve at Budget Rent a car. When I got to the lot, I saw they 97-98 Saleen convertible 5-speeds for rent. So I switched to the Saleens. Ten days cruising Cali in a Saleen vert. 😎

My 89 Saleen Mustang during an oil change. I picked this up used in 1993. Wow, 31 years of ownership with 76k miles on the car. Went to the dealership looking for a new 93 Cobra but the last one on the lot was already sold. The dealer had this one used 89 Saleen, so I bought this instead. No regret.
