Sadly it's because my country doesn't really do group events. It's just not a thing. But thank you. I appreciate it.

Joined the local neighbourhood FB group, joined some art discords, wrote on the local reddit that I am looking for friends/knitting groups... and that was about it.

Sadly there are no local meetups of any kind that I could find. No boardgamers, knitters or anything... just political activists.
