I played a very short game called Carimara: Beneath the Forlorn Limbs and really enjoyed it. Its a good uneasy mystery game that has vibes of fantasy and folklore. Really good presentation and designs in it. Its also can be completed in 1-2 hours so its not a big time investment.

I've tried doing the 'implied detail' approach before and it can make passable results but it never looks as good as a fully detailed background, which i guess makes sense.
I'm just looking at Dun Meshi pages thinking to myself 'did she seriously line all these bricks by hand'
