I have a soft spot for them because they, along with atomic fireballs, were my dad's favorite candies when I was little so they were always around, but they are objectively terrible. I think the fact that my dad was a smoker played a big role in his taste for them.

My personal favorite from this issue was "Man donates body to culinary science" incredible stuff all around

Wtf? When I was little and learning to tie my own shoes I had trouble following the way my parents taught me so I invented my own method and my parents decided that was close enough. This was that method and I had no idea anyone else tied their shoes this way!

Thank you! I knew it reminded me of something, but I couldn't put my finger on what

I'm not usually one for grammatical pedantry, but I legitimately thought they were suggesting they were going to "remove his gay again" as if the first one didn't take

Fuck it, why don't we just perform some necromancy and put Reagan on the ticket!

I said,"this many people are gonna be inside me on valentine's day and not a single one of you could manage to buy me dinner first?" Literally the last thing I remember was the OR erupting into laughter. I guess doctors and nurses have a better sense of humor than the TSA

I had a bone graft surgery scheduled for valentine's a long while back and when they started anesthesia and asked me to start counting or whatever I realized there were a LOT of people in the OR so instead of counting

Even if their nonsense version of events was true how is a ten-year-old a responsible party in that whole ordeal?

You know, with all the tools I own, and I own a LOT of tools, I somehow don't own either a sickle or a cross-peen hammer. I need to go buy more tools...

I know it's only FMVish, but Oregon Trail 3 is incredible!

To be clear, I don't actually disagree with any of this except with how it applies to Hasan. You can't just guess about how he trained his dog and then guess about what kind of collar he has and then make a judgement. Regardless of expertise judgements must be based on facts.

Nonsense.

You're literally guessing he used an abusive trainer while admitting non-abusive trainers exist. Absolute nonsense.

Goodness! So pretty! 😍

I think about this every time I turn over a compost pile. Rot is usually depicted as emblematic of death, but if you look closely enough rot is one of the greatest symbols of life, death, and rebirth I can imagine.

This is fine, but one annoying person can show up to a city council meeting and override measures that were actually voted on by the constituency. What a joke of a country.

Identical likes and reposts at 5.5k and not even double digit replies. That's not suspicious at all!

Something about the driving rhythm of that song actually takes my breath away when I listen to it. Such an incredible piece!

The fact of the matter is that we spent a century slowly building enough good will with most of the planet that they were willing to let a few small things(and a few big things)slide, but now we've spent the last ten years burning it all to the ground in a temper tantrum. We're no longer fit to lead

Thank you! That analogy is madness, but even taken in the best faith possible modern science has thoroughly torpedoed it

Back when people were changing these to say things like "Zombies, run!" I remember learning that they were usually left on the default password of "DOTS". I wonder if that's still true...
