Another PTA great watch. Especially in today's climate. The energy of the film felt more in line with "Punch Drunk Love", "Boogie Nights" and "Magnolia", which I've missed. Stellar performances by all.

Both Conflicted and entertained. I’ve seen “Gilda” mentioned on a lot of sites that had a “Best Noir” list. While it has some noir elements, I wouldn’t think of it as one. That third act was… something. But that uncle Pio? MVP of the film

The audience that I was in loved it. I chuckled at some moments but I felt the jokes kept coming one right after another with no time to breathe. If you liked the original “Police Squad”, then I would recommend giving this a watch.
