I made a face rig for Sonic that can handle switching between side-mouth, front-mouth, or whatever. The weight painting is pretty shit and it'll need a lot more work for complicated facial expressions but it surprisingly isn't a complete topology nightmare.

So far I've assumed a bone chain could only have one IK modifier, but I realized I could use drivers and a control bone to set the influence of two different IK modifiers and interpolate between them! Practical use is I can now choose between animating with the heel or the toe!

Working on a stylized approach to Sonic's spindash in 3D. I'm not wholly satisfied 'cause Blender's shaders don't offer the level of control I'd like for this, but I'm still VERY happy with the current results anyway.
