Had a very interesting conversation about Shibari (Japanese rope bondage) last week. Helped me reconcile phenomenology and the boundaries of embodied consciousness with the Tao Te Ching, allowing me to ignore western metaphysics and the whole "being/non-being/coming into being" debate. Which I hate.
