I find a good (sometimes scary) thing to do is just to roll dice randomly and if the players ask what that was for... "huh? Oh nothing, don't worry about it" or "that's for later" lol. Can make some players pay attention more, which can possibly make them engage more lol

Well, be the good Dungeon Mistress you are and tell the stories lol I don't think I'm only one that wants to hear. I just the only one brave enough to say *on my knees* "tell us, oh Great One!" Lol
