I stand by my comment based on experience. But yes two people should be on duty together at all times. Especially adding a female to supervise any males in early childhood care - given we know the vast majority of sexual abuse is committed by males in our societies.

That quote is interpreted as a reference to the destruction of Jerusalem and a metaphor for the final judgment, but it does not command believers to kill non-believers.

Jesus was a Jew who wanted to change the way Jews acted towards themselves and others. He wanted to destroy the corrupt religious hierarchy’s twisting of their faith and replace it with communal living and sharing everything people owned.
In effect Jesus was the first to advocate communal sharing.

So you think it means something other than what it’s supposed to mean. Having spent four years of my life studying religious text I can tell you - you don’t understand that passage at all.
It describes destroying the religion they believed in with all its hatred and replacing it with another.
