My narrow, painting bead sculptures are so hard to show so I made a mockup image with a fake space for a proposal (pic 4). Served its purpose. But I didn't get the show so... actually maybe not 🤣 otherwise I detest the art plopped in fake scene/home thing.

I need more space. Considering how to make works that are too big for my small studio, while in my small studio. I also despise the tv outlets on my wall which would interrupt the surface if put on wall.

I've been working with some new items that crossed my path: maple cabinet samples given to me by a friend who owns a build/design firm, box of wooden toy blocks from neighbor+ my linen. I've realized how similar these are to my talisman "painting bead" sculptures. #studio #wips #contemporaryart
