Old Guard 2 was an okay watch. It didn’t live up to the high expectations the first established, but it was still okay.
If this had been the first one, I wouldn’t be a fan of the franchise though. I’ll watch the next one because I like the concept and the first was so good. Hope they improve on it.

If your “standalone” book requires me to read several books in another series to understand the world-building “better”, it is, in fact, not a standalone.

Why is it so hard for authors to just write female main characters that want kids from the start?
What is this soul-deep need to write one that doesn’t want kids and then make her get pregnant and suddenly being all in?
It just sounds like you have some stuff you need to deal with.

Finished all three seasons of Wheel of Time and all I can say is gold star, really enjoyed it. More Nynaeve and Lan next season please and thank you🙏

How can a service like Prime Video be this shit in 2025? You spend time listing all actors PER SCENE in an episode but you can’t get an auto play function until after the credits are done? Netflix got that done years ago. Your interface is garbage. Go learn from Netflix.

At the café writing and the baristas are louder than everyone else in the café. So far I’ve learned that one of them is fluent in German, the second can’t say two sentences without singing, and the last one is considering doing pole dancing.
I might have to put them in a book because the vibe is 🤌

Not all authors use #BookFunnel for delivery but if they do, I can highly recommend their reading app as a good alternative to kindle.

I’ve had these work headphones for almost a year and just now accidentally pressed what I thought was the mute button - turns out it is the dial for the noise reduction that I’ve been wishing these had 😂😭😅 I’d be embarrassed if I wasn’t so happy to have silence now.

So tired of people acting like we didn’t just deal with a pandemic. Why are you out here when you’re coughing, short of breath from just walking, and blowing your nose constantly?

Someone outside of the US saying “I can’t imagine a world without TikTok” is really weird. You do know the app won’t cease to exist just because US people won’t be able to access it, right?

Very disappointed in the new Gabriel Iglesias special on Netflix 😕 I thought we had gone over how little people enjoy the whole divorced rich comedian dude complaining about cancel culture and pronouns. Very bottom of the barrel conservative brown-nosing.

If publishing houses are going to purposefully seek out fanfics maybe we’ll finally be done with the myth that trad pub = quality.

I’m a big proponent of the Oxford comma. In fact, I make sure to add extra commas just to be sure, and sprinkle them into my text like decoration. Or I just don’t know the law about commas. We will never know which is true.

I’m so sad to learn that I can’t donate blood now that I take medication for epilepsy. I was looking forward to do my first donation this year. 😔
