Everyone knows about Groundhog Day but central #pennsylvania real ones know Goose Day, Sept 29. Lucky Friday tonight in Lewistown was excellent. Most activities free, local vendors, music, free parking, drone show in the park. On Monday Eat Goose, Get Luck!

It's only September but this might be the best book I will read in 2025. Chain Gang All-Stars by Nana Kwame Adejei-Brenyah. Unputdownable, not predictable, biting social commentary, great characters.

Today’s teen driving practice adventures included the Lakeside trail at Cowans Gap State Park and then the largest sunflower field in #pennsylvania. The field was sublime. Photos useless in capturing the experience.
