One of my juniors does exactly this! For me I think it’s a cultural difference and I think it’s her way of saying she’s listening but it disproportionately enrages me

I used to help out at the company which deals with lost items on all flights to Stansted. Not sure if they still do but we reunited loads of passports! It was the easiest thing to track in the system because of the ID numbers/details, rather than vague descriptions of other items so good luck!
